POEM: The Roseless Rose

Like James Stewart in Vertigo

I look at girls

I never would have noticed before

Because they bring me back to you

I see a side to my face

That did not exist

Before I met you

You humble me

The way only a goddess can

The crescent moon

Punctures my third eye

Blinding me with rainbows

Star person, star person,

I miss your little blue body

Hugging me invisibly

As I boil the kettle

I give you a rose

Because I cannot yet

Give you the truth
